Hi,

I've just downloaded
ftp.freebsd.org//pub/FreeBSD/doc/handbook/book.pdf.zip

I've viewed it with Acrobat Reader 4.0.

There are some pages (for example, pages 56, 320 and 373) that have
lines that go "beyond" the border of the page.

Is there any way to fix it?

Use a different PDF viewer (e.g. a newer version of Acrobat)? I don't
see this with gv on FreeBSD.

I just downloaded the file, and found two problems with it: Firstly,
there is a page with long lines, page 71 (labeled 53 in the document)
contains a table that extends beyond the page. Secondly, the whole
document is shifted upward on the pages so that the page headings
start right at the top edge of the paper. Both Adobe's Acrobat Reader
5.1.0 2002-09-17 and GSview 4.3 (using Ghostscript 8.00), both under
Windows 2000, show this.

You're quoting the wrong person.
