Have you checked any of the store locations given at that web site?
There are phone number for all the stores so all it would take
is a call to one the nearest you.
Use the first frame 'navigation'. 'main' takes you to where
they sell ISP services.

Why do you got to a site that is 'thelinuxmall.com' when everything
you need for freebsd is at www.freebsdmail.com. FreeBSD is NOT
Linux . Just as you don't go to a Ford dealer to by a Chevy.

I hate to be critical but with a title like that you need to
learn to search the web a bit better.
Using google and entering only freebsd 6.0 sale has the product
for sale at the first five sites listed.

Thanks, my friend!
NP, I already have downloaded ISO images; because I was not having a
CD-Burner around (that's why I was trying to buy the installer CD's), so
I mounted the first ISO image via loopback on a Linux machine and
successfully installed FreeBSD 6.0 via ftp from there on my DELL
Inspiron 4150 notebook. Though, sysinstall faced some problem in my
first attempt to locating file <ftppath>/6.0-RELEASE/packages/INDEX, but
looking at the directory structure of the mounted ISO image, it was not
difficult for me to supplied a correct path to sysinstall, after that
sysinstall faced no problem in the installation of FreeBSD.
I don't know whether this is bug and, or feature, it however, would have
been better if the creator of these ISO images might have symlinked the
_./packages_ directory to _./6.0-RELEASE/packages_ also. This, IMHO,
will make the life easier for beginners too.
Regards,

Thanks, for the response and valuable comments . BTW, I'm newbie to
FreeBSD, but not *nixs' and you will be glad to know that I have started
learning what, how and, or where to search; just try:

Why not send a patch to delete them, with the reasons why, to the FreeBSD -doc
team, so they can fix the Handbook. The SGML sources for the Handbook are in
CVS, it's not difficult to get them or to patch them.

You don't want to search on my name, you'll get overloaded.
And I just looked at my old .uucp address and see 114 articles
archived by Google. 144 from an old .org group we put together
locally with a bit over 50 Unix systems exchanging news, and 645
from my current address. [that means thousands of posts are
missing - and probably for the best!!! ]
And I just checked some old saved stats from the days when the 'net
was being pushed around on phone lines - except the big companies
locally with 56K links - and April 1991 my site was 402 in the top
1000 sites for news handling. So I've been around it for awhile
too.
And coming to FreeBSD in 1996 was like coming home as it was so
close to the first *n*x system I learned on in '83.

Don't remind me. But I still get paid for doing work. Such as
getting a VXA-2 tape drive running on a SuSE Linux system for a
dealer last week who had taken the training classes to make
him an expert.
But you can't be 25 and have 23 years of Unix experience either.
It's all in learning something new all the time, learning more than
you forget, and most of all - live longer than the other guy
I got my first 'home' computer in 1977. That was back in the days
when people would say "You got a what??"
