Freebsd 6.2 STABLE & firefox problem

Post subject: Freebsd 6.2 STABLE & firefox problem

Hie all,

when i do a request on google, the first 3-4 links are printed but the
rest comes after few minutes sometimes it's long and i have to reload.
Since i;ve installed firefox, i can't go to google mail site... it says
that i an error occured durind the loading and that i can only have a
html view...

did someone know this probleme? how can i fix it?

sorry, here are more informations about firefox's version:

Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; FreeBSD i386; en-US; rv:1.8.1.1) Gecko/20070122
Firefox/2.0.0.1

do you have other browsers on your system (for example, Opera, Mozilla
or Seamonkey) and do they work correctly?

i've test with opera and it doesn't work either. Sad

Ok, then one of the most likely candidates on your system is dns[1]
resolving[2].
can you ping[3] a web server by name?
Do you get normal response times, long response times, or errors?
How about traceroute[4]?
