Post subject: how do you build a custom install disk/iso? Archived from groups: comp>unix>bsd>freebsd>misc (more info?)

I need to build four custom install CD's, each with different ports/
pkgs that install themselves. Preferably, I'd like the disk
partitions to be set up and newfs'd as well, so that I can stick one
of these disks in a new system and have everything installed, conf
files set up appropriately, etc.
I can't find info on this in the FreeBSD handbook, this group, etc.
Can anyone point me to info on how to do this?
Thanks! >> Stay informed about: how do you build a custom install disk/iso? |

Start with "man release" and "man sysinstall". >> Stay informed about: how do you build a custom install disk/iso? |

Not sure if the freesbie port (/usr/ports/sysutils/freesbie) will do
it for you. >> Stay informed about: how do you build a custom install disk/iso? |
