Above is the only thing I can find about the error. There is no other
things say about the error, so I think it won't help any expert to
help me just get so little information.

And I tried several times, it break down in different build phases.

I use the atlas port, which is atlas-3.6, stable version, to build it.
I just wonder does anyone know any issue of this port? I once built
successful atlas before, but now it let me down.

Seems to indicate hardware problems.

It may be you need to upgrade the port. I have frequently seen problems
with atlas, and it is extremely long to build, when it works.

Yes, last time I managed to build it, it took quite a long time. But I
have already upgrade the port. I used cvsup to check all the
current-branch of ports. But it still do not work.

I have already seen such a problem, and it is even described at
<http://math-atlas.sourceforge.net/errata.html#tol>.

Usually after 1 or 2 restarts, it builds... Just be patient!
